Carson Crawford completed his first career PJHL hat trick with a go-ahead goal late in the third period to lead the Mooretown Flags to a 6-4 win over Amherstburg.  

Caleb Rosseel added an insurance goal in the final 15 seconds of the contest in PJHL action at the Moore Sports Complex on Saturday. 

Jace Dupuis and Mitchell Stack also scored for the Flags.

Crawford is among the provincial leaders with seven goals this season and is tied for the league lead in power play goals with four.

John Chartrand made 38 stops as the home team outshot the Admirals, 47-42. Mooretown is now 4-4 on the season. The team had fallen below .500 losing to the Canadiens, 6-2 in Lakeshore on Oct. 3.

The Flags take on the Wild at Walpole Island Thursday and entertain Essex Saturday at 7:30.
