Some of the best senior hockey players in southern Ontario will converge on Alvinston Saturday (Jan. 10) for the Northern Premier Hockey League’s Metropolitan Division all-star game and skills competition.

The doors to the Brooke-Alvinston-Inwood Community Complex will open for the skills portion of the day at 3 p.m. with the event beginning an hour later.

The puck drop for the all-star game is 6 p.m.

James McEwan headlines a cast of five players who will represent the Alvinston Killer Bees and he’ll also wear the C for the South all-stars.  

Teammates Brandon Couto, Brennan Feasey, Connor Lovie and Kaden Fulcher will also take part in the contest.  

Bees head coach Joe Rombouts will be behind the south bench.

Among others at the event will be former London Knight Rob Schremp, representing Strathroy while former Sting players Theo Hill and Brenden Anderson from Six Nations will both play for the north all-stars.
